HP HEAT PIPE COLLECTOR

This collector heats water via fluid evaporation within an enclosed slanted or vertical copper pipe system. Fully-sealed copper pipes containing distilled water are positioned such that the top of each pipe protrudes into an adjoining water storage unit through a heat exchanger bulb. When the sun heats the liquid within the tubes, evaporation forces warm vapour to the top of the tubes, into the heat exchanger bulb. The bulb acts as a heat source, transferring the heat to the water surrounding it.

FEATURES

The tubes in this system are coated with a selective solar film and are surrounded by a vacuum tube. These technologies serve as insulation to effectively reduce thermal losses to 5% and also prevent damage in the event of freezing temperature. Since all evacuated tubes operate independently from one another, an entire system will continue to work even if one tube suffers damage. Each tube is engineered to last at least 15 years.

This system is built to withstand high water pressure and as such can be installed vertically. Also suits flat and slanted roofs.
